Featuring a natural wood fiber-containing resin body, this is the sister model of Suzuki 10 Holes MANJI. The harmonica body material is made from aged wood. The warm tones produced from a wooden body are still very popular today, even though resin and metal materials can now be used. However, the disadvantage of wood is it can absorb moisture and deform while playing. To solve this, Suzuki adopted a hybrid material of wood and resin for the body, which not only make players enjoy the traditional wooden harmonica tone, but doesn't deform from moisture. The ease of playing a harmonica is greatly affected by its air-loss, such as the leak that is born from the gap between the parts. The less the air leaks, the more quick the response is, and the more control over the tone you have. The Olive also hasminimal air-loss due to high precision parts processing and assembly. In addition, the mounting of the reedplate has been raised to the limit flexibly and improves the response to various techniques. This is only possible becasue of the advanced technology paired with traditional craftsmanship techniques.
